The newly formed ‘HPi Charities Commission’, comprising 3 members of staff, have chosen where this years’ money will be spent. They decided on a £2000 donation to the RNLI due to the company’s connection to the boating industry, to help volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour rescue service in the UK and Ireland.
A £1000 payment has been made to three further nominated charities: Oxfordshire Mind, our UK office’s local mental health charity, Médecins Sans Frontières, the international medical humanitarian charity and St. Gabriel’s Foundation a charity providing services to children with disabilities and their families, based in Ireland. Each person has also nominated a new staff member who will make up the 2022 HPi Charity Commission.
